wir vom Vorstand des Khordong e.V. Deutschland wünschen Euch ein Frohes Weihnachtsfest, ein segenvolles Neues Jahr und eine gute Praxis für 2022!
Das zurückliegende Jahr war für uns alle eine Herausforderung. Gleichzeitig war es besonders erfreulich, dass wichtige Lehrer wie James Low viele Veranstaltungen und wichtige Belehrungen Online durchgeführt haben. Auch in anderen Khordong Praxisorten wie Polen, Estland und Indien, um nur ein paar zu nennen, wurde die Praxis aufrechterhalten und zum Teil auch über Online-Streams zugänglich gemacht. An vielen Orten wurde praktiziert, alleine, in kleinen oder manchmal auch in größen Gruppen. Das ist bemerkenswert, denn je größer die Schwierigkeiten sind, umso mehr ist eine entschlossene Praxis wichtig!
Im Khordong Byangter Kloster in Indien wurden das ganze Jahr viele segensreiche Dinge durchgeführt, und als Höchepunkt wird nun das 31. Butterlampenretreat vom 24. Dezember 2021 bis zum 09. Januar 2022 zelebriert. Das Butterlampenretreat ist eine der Hauptpraktiken von Chhimed Rigdzin Rinpoche, bei dem 111.111 Butterlampen für den Weltfrieden und zum Wohle der Welt und der Wesen angezündet werden!
Eine weiteres wichtiges Projekt, das Rinpoche sehr am Herzen gelegen hat, ist nun in seine finale Phase übergegangen. Der Bau der 8 Großen Stupas auf dem Land des Khordong Byangter Klosters in Indien. Die Arbeiten beginnen heute am 25. Dezember 2021 und sollen pünktlich zum hundertsten Geburtstag von Chhimed Rigdzin Rinpoche im Jahr 2022 abgeschlossen sein.
Das letzte Projekt, das wir hier vorstellen möchten, ist der Bau einer Erdwärmeheizanlage in Khordong Umbusi in Estland. Hier wird von einer kleinen, aber sehr engagierten Dharmagruppe ein Praxis-Zentrum aufgebaut und unterhalten, und mit viel Liebe zum Detail Räume geschaffen, damit in Zukunft Retreatmöglichkeiten für Praktizierende zu Verfügung gestellt werden können.

We from the Board of Khordong e.V. Germany wish you a Merry Christmas, a blessed New Year and a good practice for 2022!
The past year was challenging for all of us. At the same time, it has been particularly gratifying to see important teachers like James Low conducting many events and important teachings online. Practice was also maintained in other Khordong practice locations such as Poland, Estonia and India, to name a few, and in some cases made available via online streams. In many places, practice has taken place, alone, in small groups or sometimes in large groups. This is remarkable, because the greater the difficulties, the more important is a determined practice! Therefore, a big thank you to all of you!
At Khordong Byangter Monastery in India, many beneficial things have been done throughout the year, and as a culmination, the 31st Butterlamp Retreat will now be celebrated from 24 December 2021 to 09 January 2022. The butterlamp retreat is one of the main practices of Chhimed Rigdzin Rinpoche, where 111,111 butterlamps are lit for world peace and the benefit of the world and beings!
Another important project that was very close to Rinpoche's heart has now entered its final phase. The construction of the 8 Great Stupas on the land of Khordong Byangter Monastery in India. Work begins today on 25 December 2021 and is scheduled to be completed in time for the centenary of Chhimed Rigdzin Rinpoche's birth in 2022.
The last project we would like to present here is the construction of a geothermal heating system in Khordong Umbusi in Estonia. Here, a small but very dedicated Dharma group is building and maintaining a practice centre and creating spaces with great attention to detail so that retreat facilities can be provided for practitioners in the future.
